Carmeled Pepper Records...

Keeping the dream alive.

Carmeled Pepper Records lives on in memory

Carmeled Pepper Records closed down in 2001, Penny lane then moved on to other projects and bands. This once lable was a pioneer in hosting the real, non-rip-off CD online store; Indie CDNow, and Indie CD. The label reach international fame, and was widely known in all communities.

Unfortunately things happen in life that change people and lives forever. Ms. Lane was forced to close CPR and feeling she would never get the status up again, she decided to focus on Droolboy Producitons, the real dream, Droolboy Productions is still kickin' it today www.droolboyproductions.dp1c.com

Why keep it alive?

In doing some research a few months back, Droolboy Producitons was gearing up for the Grind House album, Barely Exposed release, and had stumbled across Carmeled Pepper Record link in google, searching them out we found we are still alive out there in the world, and most of the bands we affiliated with are still working and successful today! It always great to see that people never give up and keep going for what they believe in, that was the foundation of the lable. CPR was down to earth and realistic. They lent their infinite wisdom, help and support to hundreds of rising artists/bands worldwide, some of those bands have hit commercial fame as well. Ms. Lane looks back and thinks, "Wow I can't believe I did that, it hard to see it when you are in it and doing it".
